A message from the Province of United States - Canada (29 August 2017):
As summer draws to an end and school is beginning for so many across our country, we ask your prayers for all those in the Southern part of the United States who are being affected by the Hurricane and now Tropical storm Harvey.
We have been in touch with both Dennis and Patricia, the two Heads of the Sacred Heart Schools in Houston and, although they have not themselves been affected by the flooding, some of the faculty and students have been.
All of the RSCJ in Houston are safe at the moment. However, they have had to remain in safe areas of the community with the danger of tornados.
