In August 2019, Sheila Smith rscj (USC) was among over 100 volunteers at the closing ceremonies of Walking With Our Sisters. The event was Indigenous-organized and run by the River Women of the Metis Nation in Batoche.
After an 8-day retreat with Marisol Soler rscj (ESP) and the evaluation of the modules, the Renewal Program in Rome closed on the 11th of August 2019.
Between the 29th of July and August 9th, 15 RSCJ from Brazil, Peru, Chile and the United States gathered together in Lima, Peru, along with Nancy Durand (PER), Maria Planas (ARU), Mariela Peña (MEX) and Ana Ramos (CHI) who accompanied the group.
The International Education Commission met in Rome on the 16th to the 20th of July.
Seventeen RSCJ from 11 countries and three RSCJ-members of the Ongoing Formation Commission are now in Rome for a renewal program that will run from 2nd July to 11th August 2019. Each week we will post some photos of their shared experience.
