JPIC News and Updates

On the 7th to the 11th of September 2020, the International JPIC Team conducted roll-out meetings to introduce the JPIC International Structure and Strategic Plan for 2020-2023.

In this issue of New Frontiers, we highlight the special anniversary year of Laudato Si’. We also include a reflection on our relationship with the fragile ecologies of the planet, and an update on our engagement with the International Volunteers Programme.

June 20 is World Refugee Day.

The Society of the Sacred Heart, along with 53 other faith-based organizations, signed a statement in support of refugees.

The Society of the Sacred Heart is an active member of JCoR, the Justice Coalition of Religious. It is a collaborative endeavour of 19 Roman Catholic religious organizations.

To facilitate access to articles, information, and updates from the UN-NGO Office, we created a new section.

The booklet format of our JPIC Document, "Being Artisans of Hope in Our Blessed and Broken World," will soon be available.
