Jimena O’Neill Díaz rscj made her final profession of vows in Santo Domingo, Montevideo, Uruguay on Sunday, 4 October 2020. Although Covid-19 restricted the physical participation of many who would have liked to celebrate with Jimena, the event was live-streamed on the RSCJ International Facebook page, allowing people from all around the world to rejoice with her and with the Society. The phrase visible in the backdrop of the photos, “Amor que transforma”, or "Love that transforms", is the name of Jimena’s probation. The candle in the photos is the one given to each sister by Barbara Dawson rscj, the Superior General, at the end of their final profession at the Villa Lante in Rome. It bears the icon of their probation group, their name, and devise, and here we can see Jimena receiving it anew as part of her perpetual vows.
