In October and November, the International Communications Team will be holding three training sessions for RSCJ, staff, and the wider Sacred Heart family on using Word and PowerPoint. This will also include instruction on how best to use the Society templates that were circulated to RSCJ and staff last year.
The two Word sessions will cover basic formatting in Word, such as spacing, fonts, borders, using styles to create titles, headings and text, automatically creating and updating table of contents, headers, footers, tables, shapes, photos, and section breaks vs. page breaks. The PowerPoint session will cover the use of photos, shapes, icons, and other visual elements in PowerPoint, as well as the use of the Slide Master View. There will be a question and answer session at the end of each training.
The sessions are free of charge and will be recorded and published here. They will be held in English with interpretation into Spanish and French.
