The Stuart Center in Washington, D.C., hosted the Sacred Heart Global Citizen Program, bringing together 12 participants from Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States. This year’s focus was "Ecological Transformation through Spirituality."
At the end of the 2017 Spirituality Forum, Margot Bremer rscj from Venezuela presented to Sheila Hammond rscj a precious treasure: a ciborium that according to oral tradition had been given by Sophie to Philippine in 1818 for the mission in the New World.

"Three long weeks have passed since hurricane Maria unleashed its fury and destroyed us. Still we wake up amazed at the destruction that surrounds us.... We want to share how we have lived and are living these days in the three RSCJ communities in the island."
