On Sunday, 22nd of January 2017, with joy and gratitude the Society of the Sacred Heart celebrated the PERPETUAL PROFESSION of eleven RSCJ.
Twelve RSCJ, who are preparing for their final commitment, received the name and devise that will accompany them as they live their vocation into the future.
On September 8, 2016, the General Council welcomed twelve RSCJ to Rome and formally opened their time of preparation for final commitment as Religious of the Sacred Heart.
Less than a year ago, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit at the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal. From India, Sophia Nelliekunnel rscj participated in relief operations; from the Philippines, Lydia Collado rscj and Sandra Clemente rscj facilitated a Psychological First Aid trainors’ training.

More than 5000 young religious participated in the 2015 World Meeting of Consecrated Women and Men. As Josephine Mbayira rscj (UGK), one of the 16 young RSCJ who joined this celebration, commented: “Religious life is not dying!”
