On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, seven RSCJ, who are in Rome for probation (a period of intensive preparation for final commitment), received their name and devíse.
We asked this year’s probanists, Kata, Yolanda, Filomena, Linda, Alicja, Adriana and Barbara, how they feel as they embark on this important stage in their formation, and what their hopes and dreams are for the future of the Society.
This month, the probanists visited the most emblematic places where our congregation began: Joigny, where Madeleine Sophie Barat was born, and Paris, where she began her early religious life.
The Probation Community celebrated November 21 with the sisters at the Mother House, which also gave them the opportunity to meet all of the staff and to learn more about the Generalate.
It is a joyous moment for the Society of the Sacred Heart as they welcome seven RSCJ who are beginning their Probation journey together in Rome.
