Provinces have sent greetings to the Society and the wider Sacred Heart family to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart on June 16, 2023.
During Holy Week, the Province of Mexico organized an activity with young people called “Intercollegiate Missions" to go visit and celebrate with the people living in the communities in the countryside in an indigenous area.
As part of the celebration of Mater Admirabilis, the Instituto Mater Sagrado Corazón in Mexico decided to give a voice to the students from the different sections: preschool, elementary, middle and high school, as they recite the AMASC 2017 prayer to MATER, written by Pilar Frech, a member of our educational community.
The Colegio Sagrado Corazón school in Mexico invited high school students to reinterpret the image of Mater in an artistic way, capturing the symbols that have been significant in their lives at school. One of the students also decided to write a letter to Mater, which we share along with some of the images.
To celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, at the Colegio Sagrado Corazón in Mexico City we created a video with all of the students and staff that focused on the following question: How does your heart resemble the Heart of Jesus?
