On the 21st to the 25th of October 2015, the V International Conference of Heads of Schools of the Sacred Heart was held in Mexico City.
More than 5000 young religious participated in the 2015 World Meeting of Consecrated Women and Men. As Josephine Mbayira rscj (UGK), one of the 16 young RSCJ who joined this celebration, commented: “Religious life is not dying!”
"I entered as a candidate on 11th September, 2004, in a community in the south of the country with an indigenous population. After 11 years, here I am, confirming every day that this is my place, not only for my own growth and development, but to give life to our Mission of "discovering and making known the love of the Heart of Jesus," and in this way collaborating with others to discover together the fullness of our common humanity."
For some time now the province of Mexico has organized for young women an experience of walking among rural communities. Here is the testimony of two youths who participated in the last "hike."
This prayer is based on the words of Jesus: “My peace I bequeath to you, my own peace I give you; a peace the world cannot give. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid” (John 14:27). It is the response in faith of our elderly Sisters in the Province of Mexico.

Thirteen Religious of the Sacred Heart received the name and devise which reflect their experience during their period of preparation for perpetual profession and which will accompany them individually and as a group as they live our vocation into the future.
