On November 21, the Society of the Sacred Heart celebrates its 215th anniversary. These excerpts chosen by Juliet Mousseau rscj (USC) from Madeleine's Sophie's conference reminds us of the "excellence, utility, and joy" of our vocation.

On October 20, we celebrate the feast of Mater Admirabilis. This prayer by Marie-Therese de Lescure rscj invites us to ask Mater to "give us the singleness of vision so that we, too, may see the Invisible and Essential in all."

This is the prize-winning entry in a competition among all the 50 Sacred Heart Schools in Spain, commemorating the 150th anniversary of Sophie's death.
The Centre Sophie Barat in Joigny, France invites us to an "interior pilgrimage" ....

2015 marks the 150th year after the death of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, foundress of the Society of the Sacred Heart. As we begin this year, we "listen" to her conference on New Year's Eve of 1855.
