What is JCoR?
The Society of the Sacred Heart is an active member of JCoR, the Justice Coalition of Religious. It is a collaboration of 19 Roman Catholic religious organizations.The founding mission of JCoR is to help religious congregations to advocate together and with others as One Body. Our approach is faith-based and uses a human rights/earth rights framework. The purpose of JCoR is to achieve better local-global collaboration, communication and advocacy, to help transform policies at all levels so that the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals will be felt on the ground.
