On March 8, 2024, International Women’s Day, the Republic of Uganda posthumously awarded sister Margaret Conroy rscj a Diamond Jubilee Medal by H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of the Republic of Uganda. The celebration took place at Boma grounds in Katakwi district, with Provincial Anamaria Nankusu rscj accepting the medal on Margaret’s behalf. She received the Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her dedication and commitment to serving the nation of Uganda. As an educator, she influenced many women who lead the nation today.
