This month, the probanists visited the most emblematic places where our congregation began: Joigny, where Madeleine Sophie Barat was born, and Paris, where she began her early religious life. They were able to stay in her house, visit the vineyards that marked her spirituality so much, learn more about her life, and in Paris, they were able to visit the most important places regarding the Society’s early history.
The probationers began their monthly exercises on Saturday, January 14, marking a time of final preparation for their final commitment as Religious of the Sacred Heart. We pray for them during this final time of Probation.
