Provincials of Europe
The seven provincials of Europe met in Rome on the 30th of January to the 2nd of February 2017.

ARGENTINA-URUGUAY
Province Retreat accompanied by Pablo Walker SJ from Chile, on the 19th to the 26th of January 2017,
at our retreat house, Casa de Almagro.
These were days of encounter with God, gratitude for the past year, and openness to God's stirrings.
Province Assembly from the 29th of January to the 2nd of February, inspired by the spirit of the General Chapter.
Gathered together.... searching and constructing how we are to "sail out" and enflesh the Calls of our Society....
desiring to live Cor Unum from our own contexts....
JPIC International Coordination Committee
The JPIC CoCo met in Rome on the 23rd to the 28th of January 2017.
The committee planned concretely how to coordinate JPIC at the international level,
so that together we can respond to the calls and orientations of the 2016 General Chapter.
Communication will soon be sent out to the Society.
INDONESIA
Members of the Area came together on the 19th of January 2017
for the "first piling" for the new house to be built on Lenteng Agung in South Jakarta.
140 tons worth of hydraulic power sent four medals, along with a cement post, 14 meters into the earth.
Before the piling was set in motion, the community gathered in prayer: for the safety of the work crew; in thanksgiving for those who assisted with advice, imagination, and finances; for the children and families of Pondok Bocah, so that the experience in this place will enkindle a lifetime love of learning; and for all the RSCJ who will seek the Love of God here, and go forth from here to serve the people of Indonesia.
PTV of Europe
At the turn of the year, from December 29 to January 1, Professed of Temporary Vows (PTV)
from the provinces of BFN, CEU, ENW, ESP, POL and their respective formators
came together in Madrid, Spain for a Formation Meeting that focused on the Vow of Obedience.
