Federica Rossi Germani receives Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Cross

On February 5, 2021, Federica (Fedy) Rossi Germani, Alumna of the Trinità dei Monti and Archivist for AMASC (Association Mondiale des Anciennes du Sacré-Coeur) was honored by the Holy See, which awarded her the “Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice” Cross. The “Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice” Cross is conferred on both lay men and women and on clergymen who distinguish themselves for their service to the Church and to the person of the Roman Pontiff.

This honor had been requested by Liliana Beriozza, the president of CONFEDEREX, on their behalf. The award was conferred by Monsignor Paolo Gilardi, Vicar General of the Suburbicaria Sabina Diocese, where Fedy Rossi Germani has her residence.

Ms. Rossi Germani was deeply moved by having received this immense honor. In her own words:

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Lord and the Church for this great honor I have received. I would also like to thank President Liliana Beriozza, her collaborators and all the members of CONFEDEREX for having worked to obtain this important recognition for me. Finally, my gratitude goes to all those who over these long years, have allowed me to perform my “service” of volunteer work within our organizations (CONFEDEREX, OMAEC, AMASC, etc.), showing me confidence and esteem, which I have unconditionally reciprocated. We ask the Lord for His protection so that He may always show us His path of Faith.
