For the World Day of Peace on January 1st 2015, Pope Francis chose to focus on the theme of "Slaves No More."
Now we are called to continue and deepen our prayer and awareness on February 8th for the first
International Day
of Prayer and Reflection
on Human Trafficking.
The date is significant because it is the feast day of Saint Josephine Bhakita,
a Sudanese slave who was canonized in 2000.

on this day of prayer and reflection.
Below is a Prayer Card sent by International Union of Superiors General (UISG) for sharing with congregations.
We thank Talitha Kum International Network of Consecrated Life Against Trafficking in Persons for spearheading this reflection. Click here to access their site.
