JCoR – Justice Coalition of Religious

What is JCoR?

The Society of the Sacred Heart is an active member of JCoR, the Justice Coalition of Religious. It is a collaborative endeavor of 19 Roman Catholic religious organizations. The founding mission of JCoR is to help religious congregations to advocate together and with others as One Body. Our approach is faith-based and uses a human rights/earth rights framework. The purpose of JCoR is to achieve better local-global collaboration, communication and advocacy, to help transform policies at all levels so that the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals will be felt on the ground.
