The “Our home, your home” project

“Our home is your home” is a project of the Open Heart Foundation of the International Fund of the Congregation of the Sacred Heart. Its goal is to support Ukrainian mothers and children who have escaped the war. Every Monday in May and June, the Foundation hosts families from Ukraine. We create a space for them to relax and develop skills. Our young people and teenagers from the Sociotherapeutic Club, who have many problems, are involved as volunteers. They are very proud to help, but they also have fun with the children, rebuilding their lost childhood, and the smile of every mother, every child and our young people during these few hours is a joy for us. In those moments, they all forget about what they’ve been through and just enjoy life.
