During the first two weeks of August 2023, a summer educational mission took place in the Apostolic Project of Léon, Guanajuato, Mexico. This activity took place during school holidays, with the purpose of allowing the children to experience dynamics of coexistence and participation that benefit themselves and their communities. It was organized by a team, coordinated by Luisa Moreno rscj, and a group of volunteers who created each day’s plan. Some of them were young students from Sacred Heart Schools, some were international volunteers, and some were from the communities themselves. They were accompanied by Sandra Cayetano rscj, who is on the province's vocation and volunteer animation team. The photo was taken on a weekend during the mid-term evaluation.
