“Setting Sail to New Frontiers in Asia”
The Professed of Temporary Vows (PTV) of the ASIANZ Region
are gathered in Manila, Philippines
on the 1st to the 10th of August 2017.
Held every three years, PTV meetings provide an opportunity for the young RSCJs to get to know each other, to have a glimpse of the realities and cultures of the different provinces in the ASIANZ Region, and to share and learn about different aspects of our life and mission as Religious of the Sacred Heart.
After their meeting, the PTVs will share about this gathering. In the meantime, here are some photos of this ongoing event.
The gifts they brought speak of the diversity of cultures in the ASIANZ Region.
The schedule of their meeting shows that the PTVs will have various activities: presentations about their respective provinces and sharing about their cultures, sessions and discussions with different resource persons, exposure to the realities of the poor, a visit to an art museum and an ecological sanctuary, prayer and liturgy, spiritual integration day, and the daily interaction with each other.
