Twenty RSCJ from twelve countries have met in Sophie’s birth place for a six-week Renewal Programme.

On Sunday October 13th participants in the Synod came together for lunch, prayer and relaxation at the Villa Lante Garden.

The Probation Community participated in Via Pacis 2019.

The International Education Commission met in Rome on the 16th to the 20th of July to continue our work of updating the philosophy of Sacred Heart Education and researching the essential elements for an international program for formation on our educational mission.

The provincial teams of Europe met together with the Central Team for two days at the Villa Aurelia in Rome.

Our sharing enabled us to feel the pulse of each region, and opened for us a rich exchange which allowed us to welcome one another and be enriched by our diversity.

We spent our day on the theme “Our mission as One Body,” exploring the different services and ways that could help us to build together our Cor Unum for the mission.

It may seem like we already know all these things; but the invitation is is for us to truly be transformed and to live out these insights.

We learned new ways of leadership. We were challenged to find new alternatives and to be open to weave these with the emerging demands of religious life. We were encouraged to make the shift from viewing realities as problems to seeing these as possibilities.

The triple question that Jesus asked Peter resonated with each one of us… and disposed us to consider together how we can animate the living of “community of goods and finances” in our respective Provinces.
