Today, the 8th of September 2016, the General Council welcomed twelve RSCJ who begin their time of probation at the Villa Lante in Rome.

On July 21-26, 2016, RSCJs and young people came together in Tarnów, Poland for “The Witnesses of Love,” the International Sacred Heart Youth Meeting before the World Youth Day.

The ASIANZ Region had a “Formation for RSCJ Formators Workshop” on January 15-25 in Mumbai, India.

On Sunday, 17 January 2016, we celebrated the perpetual profession of nine RSCJ. Here is a slideshow of photos taken by Margaret Phelan rscj, Ana María Uribe rscj, and Cuca Maset during the ceremony of Perpetual Profession at the Villa Lante in Rome.

Nine RSCJ, who are preparing for their final commitment, received the name and devise that will accompany them as they live their vocation into the future.

Today, 14th of January 2016, the probanists receive their name and devise.

We pray for our Sisters as they prepare for their FINAL PROFESSION on the 17th of January.

More than 5000 young religious participated in the 2015 World Meeting of Consecrated Women and Men. As Josephine Mbayira rscj (UGK), one of the 16 young RSCJ who joined this celebration, commented: “Religious life is not dying!”

Five Provincials from Asia, Europe, and Latin America joined the New Provincials Workshop held in the Mother House on 20-29 September 2015.

“As provincials of Asia and Australia-New Zealand, we met in The Centre in Sydney on August 10-14, 2015 and celebrated the start of our new region. The General Council had invited us to give our new region a name, and we chose ASIANZ.”
