On Sunday, 17 January 2016, we celebrated the perpetual profession of nine RSCJ. Here is a slideshow of photos taken by Margaret Phelan rscj, Ana María Uribe rscj, and Cuca Maset during the ceremony of Perpetual Profession at the Villa Lante in Rome.
Nine RSCJ, who are preparing for their final commitment, received the name and devise that will accompany them as they live their vocation into the future.
On December 12, in Rome, the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) celebrated its 50th Jubilee of service to women’s Religious Congregations around the world.
On the evening of Wednesday, December 9th, nine of the ten members of the newly established UISG Intercongregational Project for Migrants joined the Mother House community for a time of prayer in the chapel, followed by a simple supper and a chance to get to know each of the Sisters.
More than 5000 young religious participated in the 2015 World Meeting of Consecrated Women and Men. As Josephine Mbayira rscj (UGK), one of the 16 young RSCJ who joined this celebration, commented: “Religious life is not dying!”

Last year in our house in Grabow (Warsaw) there was a series of quiet days for young adults. When, at the beginning of the community year, the two of us were thinking about what kind of topics for days of prayer we would like to suggest to the young people this year, we decided with one voice: it should be about the Heart of Jesus!
