Reflection from a RSCJ: Giving your life for love

Leticia Thomas rscj, from the province of Spain, shares a personal reflection on how she feels inspired to live today in union and accordance with the heart of Christ, in the midst of today’s challenging circumstances.

Union and accordance with the Heart of Christ.

today we live it as “giving our life for love.”

            Where?

                        How?

                                   When?

It doesn’t matter. In any circumstance, in any place, I can, we can, give our life for love.

Where? How? When?

                        Now, today, here

There is…I have…no better time

By ministering to the marginalized, to the unwanted

Opening the mind and heart of a child

            Listening to the lonely

In the prayerful silence of the infirmary

Taking a stand with others in the face of injustice

                        Accompanying the vulnerable

Caring for the small and the vulnerable of our common home

                        Sowing seeds of peace

            Walking together
