Sacred Heart, SDGs, the Media, and COVID-19

A member of the Family of the Sacred Heart takes her voice to the United Nations.

Amane Sudo, a student at the University of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, was a participant in the Sapporo Sacred Heart’s UN Study Tour that took place in February 2016. The Study tour was organized jointly by Cecile Meijer rscj (USC) and Yasuko Taguchi rscj (JPN), with the assistance of Gwen Hoeffle rscj (USC).

Amane is now an advocate for the need to achieve SDGs. She was chosen to speak as the youth representative at the SDGs Media Zone during the High Level week at the 75th General Assembly of the UN. The event was sponsored by the Center of Global Communication in Tokyo.
