A brief reflection after the fifth and last week of General Chapter 2016.

Our “boat” in Nemi would not have been able to sail as well as it did without the help of various teams that worked behind-the-scenes, supporting the facilitators, the coordinating committee, and the capitulants.

This video puts together Barbara Dawson’s closing conference, video clips of our experiences together over these last five weeks, the rituals at the closing of the General Chapter, and the final Eucharist.

With grateful hearts we leave the Ad Gentes Center in Nemi. We cannot thank the SVD Community enough for their hospitality.

On August 10, in the morning of the last day of General Chapter 2016, the RSCJs went to the Vatican for an audience with Pope Francis.
