With joy and gratitude, SacredHeartDNA presents the third edition of its Advent Calendar. What began as a simple initiative has grown into a cherished tradition, and they are grateful to continue walking this Advent journey together.
This year’s calendar has been beautifully prepared by Ana Ramirez, RSCJ (from Mexico), Bonnie Kearny, RSCJ (from the United States),and SacredHeartDNA core team members Armando Lara Contreras, Karla Reyes and Reyna Gonzalez, RSCJ. The team’s dedication and creativity — rooted in an intergenerational collaboration — have shaped a resource that invites us all into reflection, prayer, and community as we prepare for the coming of Christ.
The theme of this year’s calendar is HOPE, chosen to commemorate the conclusion of the Jubilee year. Each day’s reflection will guide us to nurture hope in our hearts, our communities, and our world.
The 2025 Advent Calendar will be available beginning Sunday, November 30th, the First Sunday of Advent, and you will be able to access it here:
How to use the calendar:
Please note that the calendar doors are numbered by “Day of Advent,” not by the calendar date.
- Day 1 begins on November 30th (the First Sunday of Advent).
- From there, you open one door each day in order: Day 2 on December 1st, Day 3 on December 2nd, and so on.
- In other words, simply follow the door numbers in sequence, starting with Day 1 on November 30th.
Thank you for being part of this journey. May this calendar inspire us to deepen our faith, strengthen our bonds, and prepare our hearts with hope and joy.
