“Generational Mater” Painting Competition at the Sacred Heart School in Mexico City

Every year at the Sacred Heart School in Mexico City, a contest is held for high school seniors to paint a new version of Mater to represent their graduating class at the end of the school year. The contest is called: Generational Mater.

This year, four students participated (you can see their entries in the photo gallery below). In the file below (in Spanish), the winner, Alessandra González, describes the technique and composition of her artistic work.
