International Conference on Madeleine Sophie Barat

On March 25, 2025, the Province of BFN (Belgium – France – Netherlands) of the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus held an international webinar on “Madeleine Sophie Barat, an inspiration for the challenges of our time”, in which over 330 sisters, friends and collaborators from around the world participated. The speakers were:

– Noellina Namusisi, RSCJ of Uganda and General Councilor

– Suzanne Cooke, RSCJ Provincial of the United States-Canada, who presented the document on the philosophy of Sacred Heart education developed by the International Education Commission, of which she is President

– and the testimonies of Beth Sulleza (RSCJ canonical leader of the Philippines District) and Mrs. Marie Geffrier (member of the Youth Pastoral and Vocations Commission of the BFN Province).

Followed by a sharing in language groups and in plenary.
