15th November 2020 is World Day of the Poor. May we find a way to “stretch out our hand to the poor,” in whatever guise they may appear to us or call for our attention.

The JPIC International Team invites the Family of the Sacred Heart to reflect, pray, and share our “Upper Room Experience.”

Here we share some “prayer spaces” located in different parts of the Society of the Sacred Heart. The presentation ends with reflection questions offered by the JPIC International Team.

On the 10th of October 2019, the Chekalini Community in Kenya came together to reflect on and share about our JPIC document.

In August 2019, Sheila Smith rscj (USC) was among over 100 volunteers at the closing ceremonies of Walking With Our Sisters. The event was Indigenous-organized and run by the River Women of the Metis Nation in Batoche.

The sixth annual Christian Forum for Reconciliation in Northeast Asia was held on 27th May – 1st June in Jeju Island, South Korea. Four RSCJ from the KOC Province and Japan participated in this forum.

The Religious of the Sacred Heart in Argentina-Uruguay have had the privilege of having two communities in La Rioja during Monseñor Angelelli’s time: Famatina and Malanzán. Marisa Sacerdote rscj shares from those times.

The 11th grade students of Sapporo Sacred Heart School, Hokkaido, Japan decided that the Bicentennial of St. Philippine Duchesne’s crossing to new frontiers was a good occasion to invite the Sacred Heart family worldwide to carry out a new action together.
