The boys and girls in first grade at the Sacred Heart School of Almagro, Argentina, have been working with Mater. They have drawn her and written what they imagine Mater might be thinking in that image. We are close to her feast day and today, more than ever, we want to thank her for taking care of us and accompanying us at school.
Everything the students worked on is presented in the video below. Here is the text of what is said:
This is the image of Mary of the Blessed Mother. The Mary who cares for and accompanies all those who work and study at Sacred Heart.
She welcomes us every day when we arrive at school and she is the one who bids us farewell when we go home.
Looking at her image, we wonder: what is Mary thinking?
We are close to her feast day and today, more than ever, we ask her to continue taking care of us, our teachers, our family and all of us who live in Argentina. We also thank her because she is always there for us and takes care of us when we play and study at school.
