Margot Bremer RSCJ, a theologian who has lived in Paraguay for 32 years, was honored for her work by the Continental Amerindian Network on October 31, 2020. They have recognized her contributions to Latin America, as she has worked with indigenous peoples in Indian Theology since 1992.

Amerindia is a Latin American Network of theological reflection and praxis, focusing on the Option for the Poor and the Liberation Theology.

Margot has made contributions to many countries of Latin America in the area of Bible studies and over many decades from her experience with the Guarani in the CELAM (Latin American Episcopal Conference). She has also worked in CLAR (Religious Life), being part of the theological team there for several years.
