After the grape harvest of 1795, the door of the Joigny house
closed behind Sophie, who was moving to Paris.
On 21st November 1800, another door and another path,
unknown till then, were opened. In the hastily prepared chapel of the rue Touraine,
Sophie was consecrating her life to God.
Behind that door, though she could not know it then, all the rest of us were waiting.
