Nine RSCJ, who are preparing for their final commitment, received the name and devise that will accompany them as they live their vocation into the future.
I would like to invite each one to take time in this Christmas and New Year season to “enter the holy door” and to “journey in pilgrimage,” as ways of beginning the new year and preparing our hearts and our minds for the General Chapter.

On December 12, in Rome, the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) celebrated its 50th Jubilee of service to women’s Religious Congregations around the world.
On the evening of Wednesday, December 9th, nine of the ten members of the newly established UISG Intercongregational Project for Migrants joined the Mother House community for a time of prayer in the chapel, followed by a simple supper and a chance to get to know each of the Sisters.
Ten Sisters belonging to the UISG Migrants Project will be sent to mission in Sicily on Saturday, December 12.

On the 21st to the 25th of October 2015, the V International Conference of Heads of Schools of the Sacred Heart was held in Mexico City.
For nearly 30 years now, the Japan Province has been having an annual Creativity Workshop. Last summer, a similar Creativity Workshop was held in the Area of Indonesia.
More than 5000 young religious participated in the 2015 World Meeting of Consecrated Women and Men. As Josephine Mbayira rscj (UGK), one of the 16 young RSCJ who joined this celebration, commented: “Religious life is not dying!”
