Orientation day at the Châtenay-Malabry school of the Sacred Heart

On September 30, the 210 sixth-grade students, accompanied by their teachers and educators, once again set off for their integration day in Joigny, Burgundy, the birthplace of Madeleine-Sophie Barat, founder of the Society of the Sacred Heart.

Between visiting Madeleine-Sophie’s birthplace, walking through the vineyards, spending time with the Sisters, watching a film about her life and the mission she had set for herself, praying in Saint-Thibault Church, and participating in a treasure hunt in the town, it was a rich day under beautiful skies in this place steeped in history!

The next morning, some of the students took time to reflect on the day, which showed how important it was for understanding what we want to achieve at the Sophie Barat School Group.

Of course, the day was also an opportunity for the students to get to know each other better and for the accompanying adults to see their students in a different setting.
