On September 8, 2016, the General Council welcomed twelve RSCJ to Rome and formally opened their time of preparation for final commitment as Religious of the Sacred Heart.

More than 5000 young religious participated in the 2015 World Meeting of Consecrated Women and Men. As Josephine Mbayira rscj (UGK), one of the 16 young RSCJ who joined this celebration, commented: “Religious life is not dying!”

On Saturday, 20 September 2014, 13 RSCJ were welcomed by the General Council to the English-Spanish probation at the Villa Lante in Rome.
