In 2012, Mary Hinde rscj (ENW) was asked to give a reflection on how the Society's understanding of JPIC has developed, as reflected in the General Chapters 1967-2008. Her presentation, which was subsequently formatted for the Society’s ENW website by Silvana Dallanegra rscj (ENW), can be found at https://www.societysacredheart.org.uk/Being-RSCJ/Fully-apostolic/Our-com....

In preparation for the feast of Madeleine Sophie on May 25, the Conference of Sacred Heart Education (USC Province) offers this prayer video "in the hope that Sophie's example may support all of us in our desire to deepen our own capacity for silence and contemplation."
As we grapple with fear and uncertainty that may threaten us during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we also experience a deep call to prayer, an invitation to silence, and a challenge to "ponder all these in our hearts."
As of 31st March 2020
Here in the USC Province, as in the rest of the world, we are all doing our best to “flatten the curve” by staying at home (except for food shopping and essential medical appointments) and we are staying 6-feet away from others when we do have to go out. To date, no RSCJ has tested positive but there have been cases of Covid-19 among family members in our school communities. All our Network schools are offering classes online and almost all educational institutions are doing the same.
"The reality of this moment is teaching us new things on many different levels.... Most important, we need to stay connected to each other."
Being at the Texas-Mexico border was an enriching, educational, and intense experience for me! ~ Rita Pinto rscj (IND)
On Sunday, 26th of January 2020, we celebrated with joy and gratitude the PERPETUAL PROFESSION of our sisters.
Nine RSCJ, who are in Rome preparing for their final commitment, received the name and devíse that will accompany them as they live their vocation into the future.
A week before their final profession ceremony, the Probation Community expressed their gratitude to the Villa Lante Community for their warm hospitality, prayers, and presence during these last five months of preparation for their definitive commitment.
