It was a delightful opportunity for us, the Professed of Temporary Vows (PTV) of Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, to take part in the workshop held in Manila on the 20th to the 27th of August 2025.
The theme of our workshop was “Intensifying our commitment to follow Jesus Christ.” Together we deepened our understanding of our PTV stage in light of our Constitutions. We explored topics like the values, needs, and attitudes in following Jesus in the religious life; growth in wholeness in the manner of Sophie; and, living out these calls and challenges in daily life.
Our facilitators helped us come to a new awareness of our context and realities, our calls and possibilities, and our being One Body. Along with learning processes that they designed for us, they also gave us ample time for reflection and sharing of experiences and insights with one another.
We are grateful for this experience that opened new perspectives for us. It also strengthened our hope as we journey together towards the future.
