RSCJ at the UISG Plenary Assembly 2025

Five RSCJ participated in the UISG Plenary Assembly held from May 5 to May 9, 2025 in Rome: Claire Castaing (Superior General), Mariola López Villanueva, Maria Cimperman, Lisa Buscher and Florence de la Villéon. On the first day of the Assembly, Mariola gave the keynote address on “Consecrated Life: A Hope that Transforms”, while on the third day, Lisa shared the story of the Collaborative for Border Ministries, an initiative uniting nine women’s congregations that served over 29,000 migrants in 2024. Maria presented on the method used for the Plenary, Conversation in the Spirit. She also trained and coordinated the facilitators for the Plenary tables as part of her work as UISG Synodality Coordinator. Florence moderated on Day 3 and was part of the technical team.
