At 9-9:30PM (Italian time), as the sun sets over Lake Nemi, General Chapter 2016 members are invited to gather to pray together in silence.

The Liturgy Commission shares this advance copy of the Opening Liturgy of the Eucharist, as an invitation to the Family of the Sacred Heart to be united with us in prayer as we begin the General Chapter.

Capitulants and those who will serve at the General Chapter are now arriving at the SVD Ad Gentes Center in Nemi, Italy.

Continuing with the process of preparation for General Chapter 2016, the Chapter Liturgical Team sends us this Pentecost prayer so that the whole Society may be united in this great feast and pray together for the Spirit’s action in the Chapter.
