a key figure in extending the internationality of the Society of the Sacred Heart,
was known by the Potawatomi people as “the woman who always prays.”
This year, to celebrate her feast, we invited schools across the world to take part in a project on Migration in our Times.
At the end of the project, the students were asked to write and share electronically their prayers for all involved in the many problems and traumatic experiences which arise from Migration.
During the week of Philippine’s feast on the 18th of November, everyone will be reflecting on these prayers within their schools.
One of our colleagues, Tony Allday, from Sacred Heart Primary School in Roehampton, England, has kindly uploaded many of the prayers onto a map so that more can join our students as they unite in prayer with Philippine about this most pressing problem in our world today.
To view the prayers, click on either the icon on the map, or the name of school on the left-side menu.
