European PTV Meeting on Community

A European PTV meeting took place from May 1 to 3, 2026 in Warsaw. This year, our training focused on the theme of community.

Working with Monika, a psychotherapist experienced in supporting our Polish sisters, we reflected on our various ways of reacting in situations involving conflict. Drawing on concrete situations we might encounter, she offered us tools to understand what is at stake, to take a step back, and to decide how to react. The theoretical sessions were interspersed with moments of reflection and small-group discussions, which helped us internalize the concepts.

We also took advantage of this gathering to go ahead with preparing our pilgrimage project along the Camino de Santiago this summer, which represents a concrete opportunity to experience how to act as a community committed to mission toward young people.

As is usual for PTV gatherings, this session also allowed us to strengthen our bonds of friendship and to discover the city of Warsaw and its traditional food!

We left feeling grateful for these shared moments and enriched with new tools to better manage our daily community life.
