Lunar New Year Greetings from Sacred Heart School in Taiwan!

It’s been a year since the outbreak of Covid-19. The in-person exchange programs among Sacred Heart schools have all been cancelled since February 2020. The teachers and students at Sacred Heart High School for Girls in Taiwan have missed our Sacred Heart friends all over the world so much. We hope to express our love and care and to make connections with our Sacred Heart friends worldwide.

We are going to celebrate Lunar New Year on February 12th, which is the most important holiday in Taiwan. Our students have filmed a video to send our Lunar New Year greetings to our dearest Sacred Heart friends. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy, and we will get through this pandemic together.

The video includes the traditions of Lunar New Year and New Year’s greetings in different languages. A group of creative students worked together to film and edit the video.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important that we connect and tell each other that no one is alone. Our dear Sacred Heart friends, hope you have a warm and safe New Year!
