Sacred Heart Education in Canada and the United States has a new website.

In mid-August 2017, the International School of the Sacred Heart in Tokyo, Japan, hosted the first ever Asia Pacific Sacred Heart Educators’ Conference.

For almost five years now, members of the Sacred Heart School in Yongsan (Seoul, Korea) and other concerned citizens have been protesting against the electronic horse racing facility, which was put up near the school. On the 27th of August, the agreement to close the facility by December 2017 was signed.

In 2014, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan accredited Sapporo Sacred Heart as one of 56 Super Global High (SGH) schools in Japan. As a part of the SGH program, ten students are chosen each year to participate in a study tour to New York.

On the 14th to the 17th of July 2017, Sacred Heart Girl's Middle School (Seoul, Korea) welcomed some students and teachers from Sacred Heart High School for Girls (Taiwan).

Our Sisters and mission in Uganda and Kenya have been featured in "Sisterhood," a seven-part documentary series produced by Salt + Light in collaboration with Loyola University in New Orleans, through the generous support of The Hilton Foundation.

The Sacred Heart welcomes those who come into Chamartin (Madrid). You can see the school wing on the right of the photo. On the left you can see the community wing. It is like an echo: prayer from one side, asking for the success of the work of education, and on the other, the interest and respect for the "elders”.

The Writing Committee of the V International Conference of Heads of Schools of the Sacred Heart shares this document which contains the conclusions and proposals of the Conference held in Mexico City in 2015.

The 8th Workshop for Sacred Heart Education Institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean (RedLaC) was held in Casa del Almagro, in Argentina, from 23rd to 29th of October 2016.
