For the Feast of Mater Admirabilis, the pupils of Sacré Cœur Nursery and Primary School in Tarnów come to the Blessed Mother with their requests, supplications, and thanksgivings.

Two novices from UGK Province, Francisca Gyaviira Nakagera and Ruth Nakiganda, have compiled a series of verses that commend the beauty, obedience and purity of Mater Admirabilis.

The painting of the Blessed Mater at the school in Godella, Valencia is an original painting by Paulina Perdreau, and it has suffered some particularly difficult moments over the years.

After a year and a half of lockdown, we celebrated Mater’s feast with a Mass in the boarding school of St. Theresa Girls Hostel, where Sr. Rita Pinto RSCJ sang the hymn, “You have many portraits, Mother”.

At the Colegio del Sagrado Corazón in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, they have been celebrating Mater for 75 years by singing “Mañanitas” to her.

We want to join the Society in celebrating Mater. In our community we have a very beautiful statue and the sisters of the Casa de Mayores, in Guadalajara, prepared for her feast by sharing an invocation to the Blessed Mother who is so dear to religious, lay collaborators and all the alumnae and students of our schools.

The boys and girls in first grade at the Sacred Heart School of Almagro, Argentina have drawn Mater and written what they imagine she might be thinking in that image.
