In addition to the direct support that our sisters in Poland and Hungary are giving to Ukrainian asylum seekers, sisters in different parts of the world are asking how the family of the Sacred Heart can help. To this end, the General Council has created a fund to collect financial resources to support the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

The JPIC Learning Hub has shared some news from our sisters in Poland who welcome Ukrainian refugees. Let’s continue to pray for peace and act for justice.

Lolín Menéndez, with the help of the Society’s General Archives and the provinces of Poland and Central Europe, recounts the history of the Society in the Ukraine.

Our hearts go out to the courageous men, women and children of Ukraine who are facing unprovoked violence and hardship. We are united too with the many Russians around the world who want peace and condemn this war.
