It is with immense joy that the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus invites you to be with the Society’s probanists as they celebrate their Perpetual Vows.

On Friday, 25th March 2022, close to a hundred RSCJ from the Region of Africa (EGY, RDC-TCH, UGK) came together and engaged in a conversation with the JPIC International Team: Joy Luz (PHI – JPIC International), Sheila Smith (USC – UN-NGO), and Rachel Guillien (BFN – JPIC Learning Hub).

The probation community has arrived safely in Joigny. We thank you for your prayers. We will begin our long retreat on Monday, the 21st of March, we humbly ask for your prayers again for this wonderful time.

It is a joyous moment for the Society of the Sacred Heart as they welcome nine RSCJ who are beginning their Probation journey together in Rome.

May Mater Admirabilis intercede for the RSCJ and all those who dedicate their lives to the service of humanity.

The RSCJ of the province of DRC-Chad celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the different services they provide to young people, collaborators, students, the sick, in the parish and in their living environments.

Entitled “Comforter of the weak”, this poem by Sister Gandhi Nsonsa asks the reader to contemplate the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This Heart offers refuge to the desperate and help to the weak; this Heart is full of mercy and provides the poor with bread and peace.

Prisca Mansanga, a postulant in DRC-Chad, has written a poem expressing her love for the Sacred Heart of Jesus and describing all the ways He has inspired her.

Each of us has shared what we appreciate in the life of our Blessed Mother, and which helps us in our consecration to the Lord as Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
