For nearly 30 years now, the Japan Province has been having an annual Creativity Workshop. Last summer, a similar Creativity Workshop was held in the Area of Indonesia.

More than 5000 young religious participated in the 2015 World Meeting of Consecrated Women and Men. As Josephine Mbayira rscj (UGK), one of the 16 young RSCJ who joined this celebration, commented: “Religious life is not dying!”

“As provincials of Asia and Australia-New Zealand, we met in The Centre in Sydney on August 10-14, 2015 and celebrated the start of our new region. The General Council had invited us to give our new region a name, and we chose ASIANZ.”

In celebration of WORLD INTERFAITH HARMONY WEEK 2015, the Asia Foundation, ARMC IAIN Ambon, and 49 peacemaker teachers came together for a program on tolerance and peace education with the theme: “Love of God or the Good and Love of the Neighbor.” Gerardette Philips rscj (INS) was one of the resource persons in this program.

Twenty-one Professed of Temporary Vows (PTV) from India, Indonesia, Japan, the Korea-Chinese Province, and the Philippines, along with six RSCJ formators, came together in Jesumaum Baeumto Retreat House in Paju, South Korea on the last seven days of the year 2014.

Fifteen representatives from the formation teams of the Provinces of India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea-Chinese, Philippines, and Australia-New Zealand came together at the Crosier Pratista Priory and Retreat Center in Bandung, Indonesia on 7-14 July 2014 for the Asia-Pacific Formation Meeting.
