SacredHeartDNA has shared two of the fruits of the Hearts of Hope 2026 Leadership Program.
The first is the newsletter, created entirely by the young adults themselves. The second is the Profile of the Sacred Heart Young Adult Educator, which they developed collectively based on the experiences, content, and reflections shared throughout the program.
Each participant also returned home with an action project—a concrete commitment to advance the mission through one of our Apostolic Priorities, responding to the needs of their own context and sharing what they learned with other young people and their communities.
This process began with the Jubilee experience and continued through the Leadership Program in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. What began as an international encounter has developed into a journey of formation, community building, discernment, leadership, and commitment to mission.
The program brought together young adults with different experiences: some had already been connected to the Sacred Heart, while others were encountering its spirituality and mission for the first time. This diversity enriched their experiences and showed that the values of the Sacred Heart can speak meaningfully to young people from different cultures, backgrounds, and life journeys.
As you read about the participants’ experiences and discover what they created together throughout this program, we hope you will glimpse the richness of their journey. May their voices, reflections, and commitments inspire us to walk alongside them and other young people and to share with passion the gift we have received: the mission and spirituality of the Sacred Heart.
